Some extra suggestions from the Underhills!
Hey people. Nige and I spoke to Matthew and Priscilia Underhill a few nights ago as they were over from Kenya. For those of you who don't know, they are the son and wife of a minister in Nairobi that our church supports. They made the following suggestions/comments:
- Buy a mosquito net out in Nairobi as they are cheaper
- Boil all the water you drink - unless you get fizzy. And even be careful with bottled stuff - make sure the seal is still on,
- Typhoid is the most important injection to have - as the disease is very common. Bring insect repellent too.
- The National Museum only apparently takes an hour to walk round but the stuffed animals in there are apparently very impressive. There is also a Snake farm in Nairobi (for those of you bizarre enough to want to visit it).
- It might be handy to bring out some string with you - you might need it for hanging your mosquito net or for any other things.
- My uncle is getting some extra Malarone tablets if anyone needs them

Okie dokey. Might be worth you texting one of us when you buy your net to tell us how cheap they were in Nairobi.
