Buying Malaria tablets!

Hey guys

Now that most people have their prescriptions, we're looking to try and buy the tablets together as I'm told some pharmacies give discounts. The number of tablets we need is 130 for all 5 of us. The online price per tablet at travel pharm is around £2.15 (making the price £47.30 for Dave, Ally and Gerald and £68.80 for Nige and myself). This is actually a very cheap price I'm told so we might want to consider this - the only drawback is you have to post your prescription to them. But they are a licensed company.

So we need to do a bit of research. Shops such as Boots, Superdrug, Tesco and Sainsbury as well as local pharmacies are our best bet. So if people want to start looking around and enquiring - that would be great. Then post what you find here.

I think that we don't have to be present in person with our prescriptions in order to get the tablets. So it means we don't have to all meet up but one person can get them for all of us.

The price of 2.15 is a special offer which lasts for may. Check around other places asap then :)

If that is the case then perhaps people will want to go ahead and buy their own. Best thing would be to order over the phone rather than send payment in the post. And then send on your prescription.

OK, I've ordered mine over the phone and it seems pretty straight forward. Just mail in your prescription to the address on the web site and as soon as they receive it, they will charge your card and send the drugs out to you, recorded delivery.
